The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Extra Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
